Mosquitoes

I know that it is summer time now and that mosquitoes come out every year around this same time, but has anyone else noticed them being extra bad this year??? Last year I hardly remember seeing a mosquito and this year I can barely walk out to my mailbox with being attacked by them. Our town was supposed to start spraying for them a couple weeks ago...but if they have been doing that, then it's obviously not working. I sure love summer, but I could do without the pesky mosquitoes!!
