Reid Supply Company

I recently came across the Reid Supply Company while browsing the web. At first I wasn't sure all that they had to offer, but taking a look around a while longer I noticed that they had things like linear motion roller slide tables, roller rail sets and more!! I was impressed with the variety of things they offered and thought others might be as well. If you have a moment, take a look at http://www.reidsupply.com/ today.

Scott's New Job

It's sure nice having Scott home at a descent time each night. It used to be this time of year, I never knew when he'd be home...usually it was after dark...and having him here at all on the weekends was next to impossible. Now he has his weekends off, and is home by supper. This is such a nice change. Not only are the hours nice, but he loves what he's doing and that's so important! I'm so glad that he has found this job....it's definitely a step in the right direction!

Auto Body Repair

Getting quotes on body shop work can be a big pain. That's why I'm happy there are options online. Now you can find local body shops online in your area. Not only that, but you can find rating and reviews and even get the estimates you need right there online too!! Isn't that amazing?? I was pretty impressed by this, but then again...the internet truly never ceases to amaze me! You can look for more information at Auto Body Long Beach for your long beach collision repair.

Not a Productive Day

It's been one of those days where I just haven't been able to get a whole lot done. I feel like the harder I try, the further behind I get. It doesn't help that I have such a headache today. That never makes for a very productive day. I think I may just take a short break and rest my eyes, usually that will help the headache some. I need to get some work done before Kaelyn wakes up from nap...so that will be the plan.

Do you need a massage?

I don't know about you, but sometimes I sit down and want nothing more than a massage. Wouldn't that be nice after a long day of work? Aww...just thinking of it makes me more relaxed. If you enjoy massages, then you'll love the new 2009 Takemi Select 3D Jade Melody 12000 Comfort Masseuse. It is so wonderful because it's supposed to have an upward and downward motion, as well as offering a 3D comfort Masseuse experience with a muted voice design!! I'm sure many people have heard of Takemi Select Wholesale Outlet massage beds and chairs because they are the most successful line of massage products in the US! However, I wanted to pass along the info of this great new product for those interested that may have never heard of them until today!

Technology Troubles

Sometimes nothing frustrates me more than technology that will not work correctly!! For a while there it was my cell phone, then this week it's been my computer/internet. These are two things that I really rely on, so when they begin to stop working, or work improperly...it's very frustrating! I'm hoping that I can get this internet thing figured out soon because I hate wondering when it's going to disconnect me from the internet again. Grr!

Looking for the right secured credit card???

Have you found yourself in credit trouble after filing for bankruptcy? You're not alone. With the way our economy is today, it seems many people are having a hard time making ends meet, and many of whom are having to file for bankruptcy...even businesses! Doing this will require that you reestablish your credit. As many may already know...with little or no credit, or poor credit....it's difficult to get a credit card. This is a big deal to most people and businesses, as many people find that credit cards are a good source of comfort in times of emergency. I know I like knowing that I have one in case I need it.

The good news is that there are credit options, even for those who are finding themselves with poor credit after bankruptcy. I came across a very interesting site, www.yourcreditoptions.com that helps people find the right secured credit card for them. Secured credit cards are perfect for people who find themselves in this situation and can really help you rebuild your credit if you're serious about doing so.

If you have a moment and are interested in learning more, I urge you to head over there today and see what you think. You can use their very user friendly site to compare secured credit offers and find the one that suits you best. Best of all, you can even apply right there online....it doesn't get much more convenient than that!!

Happy Little Girl

Kaelyn is sure developing a little personality, and it's so fun to watch! She's so social, and is a very happy little girl. Recently she's really been enjoying copying, or trying to copy the words that we say. She's also gesturing more to let us know what she wants, or what she doesn't want by point, shaking her head and nodding it. It's so fun to watch her learn to do new things. I enjoy each and everyday and am so glad that I am home with her to witness it all!!

MBT Shoes

Being the type of person who loves shoes! I am always on the lookout for new styles that are unique and fun. Recently I came across MBT Shoes. Have you ever heard of them before? MBT shoes are not only stylish and a fun looking shoe, but they also help with calorie burning, muscle toning and more! I was amazed that there was actually a shoe out there that could do this, and even help me with my posture!! Wow! I suggest you look into this type of shoe if you're interested in learning more.

Celebrating a First Birthday

Kaelyn's birthday is still a ways off...but that doesn't change the fact that I'm still trying to be organize and get things done little by little....November will be here before we know it. So far I feel like I've gotten a very good start on things. We've gotten the invitations made and addressed, as well as the outfit and gifts. In my opinion those are all very big things when it comes to a little girl's first birthday! :) We already know where we'd like to get the place settings and cake, but still have yet to do that part. I don't think that will be too difficult though. I'm really looking forward to her special day and all the family that will be here to help her celebrate!

Short Family Vacation

With winter right around the corner, I can't help but think how nice a vacation would be right now. It would be fun to just get away with Scott and Kaelyn for a few days. I would love to take Vegas vacations, but I know that's not somewhere I'd really want to take Kaelyn....so even a vacation up north or somewhere that we could just relax and enjoy each other's company would be nice. Who knows...maybe we'll have to do that some time soon.

Monaco Rare Coin

There are many who have heard of the Monex Family Companies, but I'm not sure everyone has heard about Monaco Rare Coin?! I definitely think that it's a company that everyone should at least know something about, as they are offer such a unique and variety of resources for investors and collectors alike. what I like most about them isn't just their knowledgeable professionals or great service, but also the simple fact that they are affiliated with Monex, who is a trusted leader in precious metals investments and has been for almost 40 years now! I think that's pretty impressive and something Monaco Rare Coin definitely had on their side. If you're interested in finding the rarest gold coins out there, this is the place to start!

Reading Blogs

I don't know about you, but one of the things I enjoy most when I get the chance is surfing the web and reading other blogs. Some might say that blogs need to focus on one topic to be worth the time of reading, but I do not agree. In fact, some of my favorite blogs are those that surprise me with the things they talk about. Most of all I enjoy when people speak of things that I can relate to...family, children, parenting, etc. It's fun to read other's experiences and all that they have to say. What about you? What kinds of blogs do you enjoy reading??

First Fatal Plane Crash-100 Years Ago

I read something pretty interesting today that I didn't know. I guess we learn something new each day! 100 years ago today, was the first fatal plane crash in history. If you're a history buff, unlike myself, you know that this was Wright's plane. Little did they know at the time, 100 years later airplanes would be a very popular and safe way to travel for people all over the world. Isn't it funny though, many people still get anxious flying, even after all this time. I've always enjoyed learning about history and facts like this.

Cable Shopping Network

What's great about our world today is that it's super easy to shop online or from our television. Many people are wanting to save money and not travel much with the economy the way it is...so CSN is a great option. This is a place where you can find incredible products...everything from presidential dollars to other great collectibles. It's also a fun way to build relationships with one of the most successful retailers in the industry. The Cable Shopping Network is one that I would recommend to anyone looking to shop easily with a company who is trustworthy and fun! Check out their site for more details and see what you think!

Kaelyn LOVES to Read

I love that Kaelyn enjoys reading. Whenever she is on the floor playing, she immediately goes for her basket of books that I have available to her. She has her favorites, but really she'll read anything that we set in front of her. She beginning to point at pictures and even say some of the words that correlate with them. For months now she's been flipping the pages and actually looks through the book from one cover to the other. I am quite impressed with this and really hope that it's a sign she will have a love for reading someday.

Trip to LA

My brother works for John Deere. He really enjoys his job and I'm so happy for him. Most people his age don't find the job of their dreams until their much older. He's very blessed to have found an engineering job, and with such a great company at that. He's gotten to go on a couple of neat business trips while working for them...the most recent was to LA. He's been there before, but it sounds like it was fun because they had the chance to go do a little site seeing and eat at some really great restaurants as well. I'm glad he had such a good time!

BeautyJobs.com

From what I have heard, beauty jobs are becoming more and more popular. I am sure much of it has to do with the fact that you can pretty much set your schedule, and who wouldn't like helping people feel good about themselves. I know I would. With the field becoming so popular, i think it's good that there's a BeautyJobs search engine out there specifically for this field. Now people who are interested can go on this site and search for the salon and spa jobs that they want for free!! Who wouldn't want to make finding a job this easy? How great! If you're interested in finding a job like this, head over to beautyjobs.com and see what you think.

Is Moving in Our Future?

With Scott's new job being in our home state where we both grew up, we are strongly considering looking for a different place to live. We LOVE our house that we have now...it offers everything we could want in a home. However, it is quite the job for Scott and really is the reason we're still here. We're not in any hurry, but if the right house comes a long, we would definitely be open. We've been discussing putting our house on the market, but know that winter is not the best time to do that. We're just praying about it, and whatever the Lord has for us is how it will go. I can't wait to see what He has in store for us!

Watching House

Last night we were so bummed. We have been looking forward to seeing the new season of the television show House for quite some time, and thought it was on at 8 as it always has been. Unfortunately we turned the tv on at 7:50..just a a little early to make sure that we didn't miss anything, and wouldn't you know it was right at the end of the show. Turns out it was on at 7, instead of 8. Bummer! I guess next week we'll know that and sit down a bit earlier to watch it. We don't watch too many television shows during the week, but that's one we both enjoy.

Blister Prevention Patches

Many people have a need for blister prevention patches believe it or not. That's why this particular company is really excited about announcing their new patches, Engo, which have been awarded the National Health and Wellness Club Seal of Approval. That's a really big deal and one they should be proud to tell others. This fall you will be able to read many testimonials and product reviews by real people who have used the patches. How did they use them? Well, earlier this year over 1000 sample packs were sent out to people to try. Sounds like a great product and one that I will definitely keep in mind in case I ever have a need for it for blister treatment!

Yummy Stew

I was talking to my mom today and she told me that they were having stew for supper tonight! Yum!! Her stew is the best!! The greatest part about it is that it's so easy to make if you just throw it in the crock pot. I'm going to have to get her recipe and share with all of you, because it's literally the best stew I've ever had! You'll definitely agree if you choose to try it. Check back and I'll be sure to post the ingredients that need to be mixed in the crock. I believe it's a couple pounds of stew meat, a few potatoes, carrots, salt, pepper, tom. sauce and few other things. Yum...I'm hungry just thinking about it!

Blog For Money

As a stay at home mom I obviously enjoy any thing I can do to make a little extra income each month. I wouldn't have to, but it's nice to make things more comfortable for us by bringing in a little extra cash. I have found a great way to do this through blogging for money. Many people I have talked to about this, who know nothing about it only have negative things to say. They either say it's "too good to be true" or that it sounds boring. I have to say that they're missing out! If you blog about things that interest you, and you're able to make money while doing it...in my opinion that's a great job! I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity.

Capella University

It's becoming more and more popular to get your degree online. I know so many people that are doing this. I don't blame them. What an easy way to get your degree and still be able to work or do what you need to at home. If I ever go back, this is the way I will do it for sure! I've heard lots of good things about Capella University actually. They are a fully accredited online university that offers both master's degrees and undergraduate degrees. I really enjoy going to their webiste and checking out the Inside Online Education podcasts. The most recent one was a discussion with Beverly Enns. It was very interesting. The podcasts are great because they feature interviews with real staff and students from the school. What better way to learn about it than from the mouths of people who have actually experienced getting an online degree from there. You should check it out if you get a chance...very interesting!

A Break to Eat...

I'm going to take a short break from posting, as Scott just got home! It's SOOOO nice that he gets home at a descent time now, unlike before when it was usually near dark outside...as Kaelyn and I really enjoy getting to spend quality time with him. She especially enjoys it, as before she didn't get to spend much time with him at all with a bedtime of 7:30! We couldn't ask for him to have a better schedule. Anyways....He brought us Burger King, so I better eat up and then get back to work! I'll be back on to post more later. Until then....enjoy your evening....

Loving the job!

Scott's been with his new job for over a week now and he sure is enjoying it! Last night we went through all of our benefits, choosing the ones that were best suited for us. He aslo go to go online and order a bunch of work clothes that his company pays for. There are so many wonderful perks to this job, and most importantly it's where God lead him to be!! Knowing that, I have complete peace that this job will work out perfectly! Scott loves it too, which is great! I think a person should enjoy what they do, otherwise each day can be miserable.

VoIP Phone Systems

VoIP phone systems is something I didn't know a whole lot until just recently. These phone systems by Xpander were created to help businesses out. They are the most flexible and user friendly phone system out there today! They have things like plug and play phones and web control panels. They basically make it possible for businesses to have complete control over their phones and the features they have and use. Being someone who has considered starting up businesses of my own in the past, I found this to be very interesting and probably helpful to others who are doing the same. You can check out their site today for more information.

Truly Blessed!

Since the time Kaelyn was born I've been very good about taking note of the milestones she's meeting and the things she's doing in a great Baby Calendar that we received at a baby shower before she was born. The other day I was looking back at that Calendar and cannot believe how much a baby learns in such a short period of time. It's amazing how they go from being infants who can't do much at all at first, to a little who learns to do so much! It was fun looking back and reading everything she's done! What a joy she has been in our lives! We are truly blessed.

Baby Snacks By Gerber

When Kaelyn first started solids I was really leery to give her anything too "solid". I thought she might choke. I think that probably would have happened at first, but as soon as she got used to eating foods I gradually introduced things thicker and thicker. Now she's eating much of the food we eat which makes it a lot easier...especially when we're away from home. Kaelyn eats almost all homemade food, however I have found some really great Gerber snacks that are handy when she needs something to hold her over. Their the Lil' Crunchies. She absolutely loves them! I'm glad we found those, as she was getting tired of always eating Cheerios for snacks. :)

Find NFL Tickets

My hubby is a huge sports nut!! He loves everything to do with sports. I would say his favorite is probably the NFL...but he'll watch almost anything! He'd love to go to a game sometime, but I've tried before and tickets are really hard to get. It's just such a hassle. I did some looking again though, and did come across a site that helps people find NFL, MLB, NBA or NHL team tickets, like Miami Heat tickets for instance, as well as tickets to concerts too! Premium Seats USA is the site and they make it easy to find first-class tickets nationwide. I went to their site and was very impressed. I think I may have found the perfect place to buy him tickets this year. Check it out for yourself and see what you think.

Grandma Annie

Wednesdays are the night that Scott's mom usually comes to visit. It's nice that she makes a point to come see us and Kaelyn...as it's harder for us to get out and go visit her with a baby. It's fun to catch up with her and see how everything is going, and she enjoys doing the same. Kaelyn always likes to see her too, and shows off the new things she can do and say. Annie always enjoys seeing all of that...as Kaelyn is her only grandchild who lives close enough to see very often. She gets to go see the other three grandkids a few times a year which is great! I'm sure they enjoy their time with Grandma too!

Weight Loss Surgery

I was reading an article today that talked about weight gain and how it's something that more and more people are struggling with today. It seems that even young people are struggling with it. With the rise in weight issues, there are many people turning to weight loss options. One of those being the very popular lap-band surgery. This is where a band is put around the top of your stomach to give you the feeling that your full after eating a reasonable amount of food. In turn, this will obviously help you to lose weight. It's the least invasive surgery out there and one I'm sure more and more people are hearing about. If you want to learn more, you can head over to their sit and see what you think about weight loss surgery cincinnati.

Not Enough Time...

Have you ever had one of those days where there just doesn't seem to be enough time to get everything done? Today is one of those days for me. I have laundry in the washer and dryer, as well as many loads to follow...then I have dishes in the sink...toys to pick up and bills to do! It may not sound like a lot, but being a stay at home mom it's not always easy to even get the easiest of jobs done each day. Oh well...there's always tomorrow!

Leaky Water Heater

Recently we've been having some troubles with our water heater. It's been leaking a bit and we didn't know quite what to do. After speaking with my dad about it, Scott decided that he was going to go to Home Depot and see if he could find the valve he needed to replace the leaky one we have. If at all possible we'd really love not to replace it, so we're hoping that it does the trick. He went the other day and got the part he needed. Now it's just a matter of finding the time and someone to help him get it fixed. I'll keep you posted on how it goes...

Have you ever wanted to make sure that your property or loved ones are safe via GPS Tracking? Well, now you can with the PT-10 GPS tracker, live as it moves across the computer screen! What's great is that it works anywhere in the world. I thought this was an incredible piece of technology and one that everyone should check out for themselves. Loving the job!

Today Scott came home from work and I could tell that he's really enjoying his new job. It not only offers everything he could want in a job, but he's actually enjoying what he does!! I think that's so important. It's not worth working somewhere that you're unhappy at. Your life will be totally miserable if that's the case. We knew that the Lord had something great for Scott, and we're so blessed to have found it so early in life!! Scott pictures this job to be the one he sticks with for a very long time. I couldn't be happier about that!

Needing a new watch

For quite some time now I've been telling Scott how much I need a watch. When I was in college, and on the go more, I always had a watch on. Although I'm not on the go like I was then, I still think it would be nice to have one...especially for those times when I am out and about with kaelyn or something. For fun we thought we'd do some looking around and we found some really nice Guess watches. I'm not sure when I'll actually get around to getting one, but when the time comes, I'd really like one of these. I think it would last me a long time.

Consignment Sale Success

For a while now I've been looking forward to today! My parents, Scott, me and Kaelyn all went up north to a HUGE consignment sale for children's clothes, toys, etc. We always have so much luck there, that it's something look forward to each time it comes around. Today went just as well as the last time we went....we got lots and lots of clothes for Kaelyn and our little nephew. They should be set now at least through the winter and into the spring months. I couldn't be happier about this, as buying brand new kids clothes can get quite spendy. I'm already looking forward to the next one in May.

Getting Lasik

More and more I am seeing the need for my reading glasses. The more I'm online the more I feel my eyes straining to see the screen. The thing is...it's very hard to always have my glasses with me wherever I'm at and whenever I need them. Someday I would really like to just get Lasik surgery so I don't have to deal with it anymore. So many people are choosing this option and I definitely think it's one worth looking into. What do you think?

This is the weekend......

This weekend is one I've been looking forward to for quite some time. We're going to head up north and go to a huge consignment sale that is definitely worth the drive. Saturday is the day when all of it goes half price, so we're sure to find some great deals on all kinds of baby clothes and toys!! Although we don't plan on spending a lot of money, we're excited to at least find Kaelyn some clothes for the winter months. Hopefully they have as much to offer as they did last time. If they do we'll probably be set even through the spring as far as clothes are concerned.

New Web Based Healthcare Resource

In the past I've discussed Epocrates and their medical software used by over 500,000 healthcare professionals. They make it easy for drs to get the information they need to diagnose and treat patients for things like chronic atrial fibrillation. Now however, they've made it even easier!! They have created a free online clinical solution that allows drs to get everything they need right online. It's an online free drug and disease resource that will make prescribing safer and results in more confident diagnosis of different conditions. Not only that, but when drs have all this information right at the click of a button...it makes our dr visits shorter as well!! That's great for busy people who don't have hours to spend in their appointments. You can learn more and even check it out for yourself by visiting the Epocrates site today!
This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.

My Hardworking Hubby

Yesterday was Scott's first day with his new job. I kept thinking about him and praying that his day was going well throughout the day. When he got home I naturally asked him all about it. I was happy to hear that everything went great and that he really enjoys what he's doing. It's been a long time coming and I'm so happy that he's in a job where he's able to do more of what he's always dreamed of doing....sales! He's going to be terrific at it. With any new job there's that overwhelming feeling of learning everything, but I know with time he'll master it all and be completely comfortable. I'm just happy that he's excited about it and looks forward to going to work each day.

Losing Weight

There are many people who struggle with weight and so many different options out there for them. Whether it be dieting, diet pills, or even surgery....the options are endless. One of the most popular options is probably bariatric surger or better known as lap band surgery through Journeylite. It's something that more and more people seem to be looking into, and I can't blame them. Although it's not for everyone, it's definitely a huge benefit to many people who struggle with weight issues. You can learn more about weight loss surgery tampa on Journeylite's website.

Having him home...

It's sure been nice having Scott home the past few days. He begins his new job tomorrow which is really exciting...but I'll sure miss having him around to spend time with and help out! Kaelyn's really been enjoying it too!! She loves having her Daddy home. It's nice with two of us here, because one of us can do things around the house and the other can find time to be with Kaelyn. She's been getting lots and lots of one on one play time which is great!!I'm sure it will be an adjustment for her when he goes back to work tomorrow...as I can tell she's starting to like this "Daddy spending time with me" thing!! :) I don't blame her though...I like having him home too!

Life's Little Pleasures!

Having a little one around, as well as all of the other daily responsibilities most people have with caring for a home and a family....I rarely have the opportunity to just sit and relax. For a moment I have decided to do just that! I have found a spot in my favorite chair, put my feet up and grabbed my computer. All that I can hear is the sound of the computer keys clicking as I type and the clock ticking away. What a peaceful moment. I want to take it all in...as this is a rarity and not something I expect to happen very often. Ahh...life's little pleasures. :)

Daddy and Kaelyn

Over the past month or so, Kaelyn has really been interested in copying what we say and do. It's fun to see her try new things. She's such an outgoing and fun little girl...each day with her is such a joy!! We're truly blessed!! Tonight we were sitting around playing, and Scott started talking like "Donald Duck" to her. She LOVES Donald Duck and thought that was pretty neat! After only a couple of times of doing this, Kaelyn began trying to imitate what Scott was doing. It was too cute not to share! Enjoy....

Get rid of moths!

Do you ever get tired of moths in the pantry or kitchen but just don't know how to get rid of them without the use of harmful pesticides and products along those lines? I thought many people probably struggled with this issue, and that's why I wanted to share a product that I came across recently online. They are moth traps. What's great is that they're affordable and you will know that your food does not have to go to waste anymore due to infestations. I thought they were pretty neat. What do you think?

First time in the nursery

In the past Scott and I have kept Kaelyn in church with us each Sunday. Now that she is getting older though, and wanting to play....we decided to try out the nursery for the first time today. She's at that age where she still doesn't understand that we sit still in church, so it's difficult keeping her in there with us. I'm glad we tried the nursery because the helpers in there said she was really happy and good. When we walked in she was sitting there playing with the toys and the other kids. What was fun about it was the smile she got on her face as we walked in the room....so cute!! This was a new experience for us...as she does not go to daycare or anything.

Great American Seafood Cook-Off

Most people who know me would say that I'm quite daring when it comes to trying new foods. I enjoy trying something at least once to see if I like it. Whether it be spicy, bland, or something else...count me in! I especially like seafood and that's why the Great American Seafood cook off of 2008 has really been a great interest of mine!! If using domestic seafood it's very sustainable and yummy. It's fresh and local which is terrific and a huge reason why I prefer it. I was really looking forward to seeing who won and today I was able to go in and see the top five recipes listed. They all looked good, but my favorite would definitely have to be the Colorado Striped Bass Panzanella. Why did I pick this one as my favorite? Well, it's the best because it's simple yet tasty. I love the ingredients use and it would be a perfect addition at any meal. Although I'm not what one would consider the best chef, I would definitely consider trying to make this at some point if my husband would agree to eating too. I think it would be really good and worth the time and preparation. If you'd like to check out this recipe for yourself, or any of the others, head over to their site and see what you think. Turning on the heat in September!

So today is the first day that I have had to turn on our heat in the house. It's kind of depressing because that means winter is on it's way! Grrr!!! This is probably my least favorite time of year and I can't wait for warmer weather again. I don't like having to put on layers upon layers just to walk out and get the mail. Do you??? I sure hope that this is just a phase and soon we will get back some of that summer weather that we so deserve. This turning on the heat stuff in early September just isn't for me at all!!

Hunting for Blogs

I don't know about you, but one of the things I enjoy most when I get the chance is surfing the web and reading other blogs. Some might say that blogs need to focus on one topic to be worth the time of reading, but I do not agree. In fact, some of my favorite blogs are those that surprise me with the things they talk about. Most of all I enjoy when people speak of things that I can relate to...family, children, parenting, etc. It's fun to read other's experiences and all that they have to say. What about you? What kinds of blogs do you enjoy reading??

Consigment Shopping

I know it is still a couple of weeks away, but I am really looking forward to the Just Between Friends Consignment sale that we are going to soon! Thanks to my sister-in-law who informed us of this great sale....my mom and I can now go and find great things for the kids at such cheap prices!! I enjoy it because I can get Kaelyn almost all the clothes she'll need for the next two season without spending over 50 dollars!! This is my kind of shopping, especially when she grows out of things so quickly! Who wants to spend 30 bucks on a pair of jeans or a shirt when they won't even fit in it in a few months!? Not me.

I'll keep you posted and let you know how the sale goes...I'm very excited to see the selection they have this time!

New Kitty in the Family

This past weekend while we were home visiting my parents, we also had the chance to hang out with my brother some. It was fun seeing him and his girlfriend, as well as seeing his little kitty again. She's grown quite a bit since the last time we saw her, and Kaelyn loved her just as much as she did the first time she saw her a few weeks ago!! She was following her everywhere! My parents dog, Zoe however did not know quite what to think. She was very good, but you could tell she was just a bit uneasy with the whole thing, especially when hissed at by Mylie.

It was really different having a kitty around, as no one in our family has ever had a kitty before. It's fun to see how she differs from having a dog. The biggest difference that I can see is how easy she is to care for. She eats when she wants, goes to the bathroom without having to be let outdoors, and is so quiet. My brother said she plays a lot on her cat trees and with her little toys, but for the most part sleeps and sleeps. She's such a cutie. Hopefully we'll get to spend more time with her again soon.

On a Schedule

One of the best things I have done since having Kaelyn is getting her on a schedule! When she was just born obviously this wasn't my priority, but as time went on...probably around 3 or 4 months, I saw that a schedule was needed. After having worked with children for many years in my profession, I know that they thrive on a schedule...they need to know what's coming next, even when they're as young as she is. Thankfully it's gone very smoothly!! She now has set nap times, set eating times, etc. It's not that we can't be flexible, we can.....it's just nice to have guidelines to a day....it makes everything run much more smoothly...and it's much better for Kaelyn as well!

Diet Pills

I have never attempted to try any of the diet pills out there, however if I were to ever, I would definitely do some checking around with family and friends, as well as online to find out information about some that are out there. It seems that there are so many, like Leptovox for instance, how does a person ever decide?!? I am the type that enjoys reading reviews on things and hearing what others have to say about products, so that's probably what I would do in this situation as well.

Dogsitting Zoe

We have Zoe, my parent's dog, here for a few days this week...and so far it's going very well. When Kaelyn was really little, Zoe wasn't too sure about her. In fact, she often got a little jealous and didn't know how to act around her. Now however, she's less interesting and is very good with her!! Kaelyn and Zoe have been getting along perfectly!! They have even been playing together some. I enjoy watching them interact. The funny thing is...Kaelyn is always trying to call Zoe a "kitty" :), that's still something we're working on. :)
