God is Good!
Throughout the past year or so, we've had lots of changes happening in our lives. My husband and I were living in the city where we graduated college from just about 7 months ago...I was teaching and he was selling cell phones as he looked for a job. Sometimes finding that first job when you get out of school is not easy, so, we began to pray about it over that year long search. Scott thought he knew what job he wanted, but we were both trying to stay open to what God had in store for us, even if it wasn't a job in the industry we first thought was best. As we waited and prayed throughout that year, God taught us patience and peace. We learned what it truly meant to Trust in Him with all our hearts! Our Faith grew so much through that experience, and it turns out that just about 7 months ago Scott got a wonderful job where we were able to move and be closer to family...something that is very important to us. Just after the move we found out we were pregnant...which was a wonderful surprise!!:) What a blessing and a miracle a baby is from God. He is good! Finally, the third big change in our lives recently happened, as we finally found a place of our own to live. We had been house hunting for months, and finally found the house of our dreams that offered everything we were looking for..and one that we felt lead to look into further. Here again, we put our Faith and trust in God and let Him direct us in the path that He had for us. We couldn't be happier and the whole home buying experience went so smoothly!! I guess through all of the changes we've experienced over the past year, we've learned more than ever that God is in control and if we seek Him with an open heart, and a positive attitude, things will work out the way they're supposed to. Afterall, He is all-knowing and wants the very best for us! The verse that I really found comforting through all of this is that from Proverbs 3:6-In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path! We feel so blessed and couldn't be happier! Scott is really enjoying his job, we get to meet our little one in a couple of months, and we are absolutely loving our new home! God is so faithful and continues to bless us each day! He is good!! :)
