Moving
Over the years, we've moved quite a few times. Scott and I were very fortunate to have family that were willing to help us move. If it weren't for them, the moving processes wouldn't have gone nearly as smoothly. Although we don't plan on moving again anytime soon, if and when we do, we're definitely going to looking into one of those companies that have moving boxes available and will even come in and help you pack up and move your things. We came to this conclusion after realizing how much stuff we have accumulated over the years. I think that would be the easiest and smartest choice.
Kaelyn
My brother works for John Deere. When Kaelyn was born, he had given her a super cute John Deere outfit that included a onesie, bibs, and a jean jacket (all in pink I might add...my favorite color;)). When she was just born, it was a bit too big, but yesterday i put it on her and it fits perfectly! I was so excited, as it is a really cute outfit on her! I am hoping that she'll be able to wear it for a while and maybe even show Uncle Jake when he comes to visit sometime. I'm sure he'd like that.

House Work
There are a lot of things that Scott and I would like to do around our house over the years. One of the things we'd like to do soon is a little remodeling work in our basement. We'd love to do some work in our family room, as well as finishing off an already partial bathroom. I'm not sure which we'll do first, but I'm guessing the bathroom would take some work. I'd like to make sure that there's plenty of storage in there, as well as a walk in tub. We've been looking around, but haven't seen exactly what we're looking for. Oh well, there's time.

Epocrates
Epocrates is a company that has made it possible for healthcare professionals to get drug information quickly and easily by use of their medical drug reference software for PDA's. When you think about it, most Drs carry around a device like this...so having software like this available to them will help them easily find answers to their questions regarding health plan coverage, drug dosing, side effects and more! From what I read, it sounds like there are already over 500,000 doctors using them. And, it's only become more popular. Not only is this kind of software available on on smartphones, but also blackberries and soon iphones too! If you'd like to learn more about this great software, check out their site today! There is where you'll find a wealth of information.

Busy Season
April and May are always nice months, because the weather starts to get warmer. Unfortunately though, these are also the months that my husband stays rather busy at work. He works in the agriculture business, so he's very busy this time of year. His busy season requires him to be at work very long hours, and most weeks...7 days!! That time has come and he's been exhausted every night when he comes home. Thankfully it's raining out though...so this weekend he will be home with us! That's always nice.:)
Rain, Rain, Go Away!
Kaelyn and I were having so much fun going outdoors and enjoying the weather, that now when it's raining...I'm kind of bummed. She really enjoys riding in her new stroller...and it was something that we got to do quite a bit this week. Over the past couple of days however, the rain has kept us indoors. It's fairly warm out, but the rain makes it hard to do much of anything! I hope that this weather isn't going to stick around long so we can get back outdoors. We've been cooped up all winter long...and we're ready to have some fun outside in the nice weather!!
Monex
Anyone who has ever looked into investing money, has probably heard of the Monex Deposit Company before. That's because they are known as America's gold and precious metals investment leader and have been around for over 30 years! They are a trusted company and offer excellent customer service. They make it possible for you to purchase gold, silver and other precious metals and arrange for it to be delivered to you or a safe storage place. Buying gold is a very smart move to make investment wise, and one that you may want to consider some time soon. If you'd like to learn more, feel free to check out their site today.
Proud Parents!
Since having Kaelyn, I have learned how important it is to have the video camera and digital camera next to me at all times...not forgetting to make sure their fully charged as well! It seems that one minute Kaelyn will be on the floor playing with her toys....and in the blink of an eye she is off learning to do something new. When possible, I am always making sure to try and catch everything on film. Recently that "something" was getting up on her hands and knees. Scott and I knew that this time would come sooner than later, as Kaelyn is a very curious little girl...always wanting to discover the environment around her. She has been scooting around and moving every which way except for forwards for a couple of months now. Soon, she will be moving in that direction though....as getting up on her hands and knees is a very good indication that crawling will be next. It was so cute to watch her as she did this for the firs time. It took so much effort for her to get to that point, and once she did her little face shined and she looked so proud of herself. I'm sure it helped that Scott and I were cheering and clapping...saying "YYEEAAHH Kaelyn!!":) I suppose you could see we're very proud parents!!

Be Oyster Aware
I think people would say that I am daring when it comes to the things I eat. I enjoy trying new things, and will pretty much try anything at least once. Thinking about all of the different foods that I've tried I remember the first time I tried oysters. I think of this experience first, because it definitely was not a pleasant one. Even though I did not care for eating Gulf oysters, I know that there are many people who really like them. To be honest, I never really even knew if it was very healthy to eat them raw. From what I've read and heard, it isn't a big deal as long as the person eating them does not have a weakened immune system for one reason or another. It's important to be Oyster Aware, and that's why I really like the site BeOysterAware.com. They offer a lot of helpful information for anyone wanting to learn more. If this is something that you'd like to know more about it, head over to their site today! You won't be sorry you did.
American Idol Surprise
Did anyone else watch American Idol last night? If so, were you rather surprised that Carly got voted off? I really like Brooke and Jason both, but I think that Carly did better than each of them. Over the weeks, I would say she's been much more consistent. I guess it goes to show that this television show is not only a "singing" competition as Simon always says...but also a "popularity contest" too. I think it's all a matter of who has the larger fan base. That's why you just never know with this show. Just because someone does poorly for many weeks in a row...doesn't necessarily mean they will get eliminated. We'll have to see what happens next week...
Home Makeovers
Recently Scott and I have been having a lot of fun watching the different home makeover television shows that are on at night. We have always enjoyed this type of show, and it seems that there are so many on now...more than ever in fact! Anyways...watching these shows has really made us think about the different things we can and would like to do in our own house one day. Everything from little things to replacing lights, to bigger things like redoing our kitchen and bathroom. It's fun to think of all the things we'll do someday.

Food Lovers
Do you love food? I know I do. That's why I found foodconnect.com to be quite interesting. I thought there are probably many others out there who would as well...and that's why I wanted to share it with you. In visiting this site, I found that there are many great things about it. I guess the best thing of all is that it's free to be a part of. Now, who wouldn't enjoy that...right?!! So what is this site all about? Well, you can discuss recipes with others, share them with friends, plan meals and print lists to help you when shopping, and even find out the nutritional analysis of your recipes for free...I think that's my favorite feature!! How about you?! I thought this site was really unique and unlike any other that I've come across. And best of all, it's easy to use. As a busy mother, I appreciate any help I can get in planning meals and finding great recipes that are easy. This is my one place to stop for all my needs. If you love food and think it would be fun to learn more, then this site is definitely one you should check out today! Head over there and see what you think. You have nothing to lose!!
Nice Day
It sure ended up being a nice day out today. This morning it was raining and very dark and gloomy. Now, this afternoon, it's sunny and beginning to warm up. Over the past few days, I have been able to take Kaelyn out on some stroller rides. I didn't think I would be able to do that today, but it looks I may after she wakes up from her afternoon nap. That will be fun. She really enjoys getting out and going for walks and I do too after being cooped up in the house all winter.

Home Shows
Is there anyone else who really enjoys watching the "home shows" on HGTV? This is a channel that I find myself watching often. I think I enjoy it now more than ever since we now own our own home. IT's fun to see all of the things we can do to our home without spending a whole lot of money. I really like our home the way it is, but there's always room for some improvements and changes. Scott and I have already been implementing some of the simple ideas, and plan to continue as we do some work on our unfinished basement. There are just so many great ideas, don't you think!?
Treasure Hunt
One of the greatest companies that I enjoy blogging for is Payu2blog! They always have fun and exciting things for their bloggers to take part in. Recently I received word that they are going to be having a treasure hunt! Just the words, Treasure Hunt definitely is intriguing, and makes me want to learn more about it!! Over the next month they're going to be offering a number of prizes that people hunt for online. They will be sponsored by jewelelegance.com, a great site for jewelry lovers like me to find lots of diamond jewelry!! Doesn't this sound exciting?? I'm not quite sure how it will all work, but having taken part in other promotions like this before...I can tell you that it's something I'm not going to miss out on!!

Auto Insurance
There are so many different insurance companies out there....it's difficult at times to know if the company you're going with is the best one for you. We're very happy with the car insurance we have for instance, but I know that if we ever decided to look elsewhere...we would look into the online auto insurance that is available out there. It seems like this is a popular choice among many people, and I'd really like to check it out further sometime. The internet is such a great thing isn't it?! it makes it possible to do so much. What would we do without it?!
Sleep Wedge
Kaelyn has begun to move around a lot more recently. We find her in her crib, and she's moved from one end to the other. We were thinking about taking her sleep wedge out of her crib...as it really doesn't keep her in one position any more now that she's moving all over the place. We thought about this for a couple of days, and finally decided that we're not quite ready to get rid of it. We feel that it keeps her in one position longer than if she didn't have it. The longer we can keep her from moving around her crib at night, the better!

Soon to crawl...
Tonight Scott and I were sitting at home watching Kaelyn play on the floor, and all of a sudden she began pull herself up onto her knees. She has been lifting herself up on her arms for a while, but this is the first time that she's pulled herself up on all fours. She didn't go anywhere, but she did sit there and rock for a short time. I have a feeling that she'll be crawling very soon! She's such a big girl...where has the time gone!

Zoe's heading home
This weekend we are bringing Zoe back to my parents. They have been on vacation, so we were dogsitting the past couple of weeks. It has been fun having her around, she's always such wonderful company! I don't mind having her at our place anymore...because she's so good with Kaelyn. When she was first born, Zoe was really jealous and we could not have her near her. Now, however, she is very good and I always look forward to her coming. My parents are really missing her, and they will be so happy to see her. I'm looking forward to seeing them as well....as it's been a couple of weeks.

Take Surveys and Give to Charity
I learned about dNeero a while back and have been enjoying doing the surveys that they put out there for me to do. I really like that they give you the choice, whether or not you want to keep the money you earn, or give it to charity. It's a very good thing to do, and there are many organizations available to give to. If you enjoy making money, or giving to charity....dNeero may be just the thing you've been looking for. Click on the button below to sign up.
Change in Weather
Yesterday was so nice, and then this morning I wake up and it's cold and rainy. It looks like the sun is finally starting to peek through the clouds some, but I miss the nice weather we were having. I sure hope it returns soon...it's much nicer to be able to enjoy the outdoors with kaelyn, rather than be cooped up in the house all day. I think she enjoyed getting out and being able to go for a stroller ride....hope we can do it again soon!

Phone Cards
Cell phones are a great thing, but you still hear of people needing phone cards for one thing or another. I suppose they're always a good thing to have on hand...as you never know when you might need them. I for one think the biggest reason people need phone cards is for international use. There are many people who travel, or have family overseas that need a way to contact their loved ones or businesses. This is a great reason for looking into getting cheap international online phone cards, and I know just the place! Phone Cards Avenue is a site that offers cheap international phone cards to customers. They help you save 80% or more sometimes when compared to the offers that other companies like AT&T, Sprint, etc. have. I think it's great that there's a company out there competing for the best price. I mean, who doesn't want to save money where they can and get the best deal, right?! I know I do. Looking into this site more, I am really impressed with the offers that they have. There are many people who would benefit greatly from checking this site out and learning all that they have to offer. If you're interested in learning more about them, or know that you'd like to go with them for your next phone card, then I recommend you check out their site today! They're only a click away. Their site is really easy to use and it makes the whole process easy and fast. See what you think.
Digital Cameras
Aren't digital cameras wonderful? I love ours. I like being able to take a bunch of pictures and then go through them later to choose the ones I want. I also like being able to order them online and have them ready in one hour...that's very convenient. THe only thing that is hard is that many times I keep my pictures on the computer and don't order prints for months. That's kind of what has happened recently, and now I have a bunch to go through! Oh well...I'll just work on it, little by little.

Allegro Medical
In 1996, Allegro Medical was founded. It is now the largest and most advanced independent online retailers for medical supplies and home health care products. They serve over one million customers as of now, and are continually growing. Their company has expanded since opening, including products like exercise and fitness equipment, nutritional dietary supplements, maternity/baby supplies, and outdoor gear! I was impressed to find out that they have over 55,000 products under 50 different categories on their site. You'll find things like pediasure, shower chairs, blood pressure monitors and more when you visit this site. Check it out today and see what you think. You won't be sorry you did!!
Big Girl!
I have so much fun just watching Kaelyn these days. She's so alert and notices everything. She enjoys looking around and coos and talks a lot!! I love watching her as she talks...she makes so many cute facial expressions. She has so much expression to her personality now....as she laughs, smiles...even gets scared sometimes. It's fun to watch her change and grow each day. She's sitting up so well on her own now, and even brought herself to a sitting position by herself for the first time yesterday. She's becoming such a big girl!
Fun Vacation
My parents are currently in Texas, visiting my brother and his family. My brother and his wife also had a baby this past November, and my parents hadn't seen them or the baby since Christmas. That's a long time, especially for new Grandparents.:) They were really excited to go and see them all. It sounds like they're having a wonderful time. It's nice, because they live in an area where there is a lot to do. They get to go to baseball games, basketball games, shopping, and so much more! I really wish that we would have been able to go too. Oh well...I'm sure we'll get the chance sometime before they move back to Iowa.:)
Meet New Friends
It seems that these days there are many different social networking sites. I'm sure almost every young person out there is a part of at least one, if not more. Are you someone who enjoys meeting new people, making new friends, uploading pictures for others to see, joining groups, blogging, chatting and more?! If so, then you should check out this site I recently came across. join 3gb community www.3gb.biz today and see what you think....you're only a click away!
Sounds Like Fun
I talked to my parents recently and they sound like they're having a really good time on their trip. They went to visit my brother and his family....and it sounds like the weather is beautiful and there's lots to do. I'm sure that they're loving every minute of being down there. The sad thing is, vacations go by way too quickly. They've been able to enjoy going shopping, baseball games, going out to eat and just enjoying being with each other. Wish we could have gone too...

News
Whenever I get the chance, I enjoy looking online, or turning on the television to listen to some of the news that's going on in our area. Being a stay at home mom, I don't always get that opportunity, but when I do...I really enjoy staying up to date. Recently as I was watching our local news, I heard a man talking who was a truck accident lawyer. It got me thinking about how many different types of lawyers are out there. I think it's great, as there is need for all kinds of lawyers.

Gifts
Ever since Scott and I got married, we have enjoyed asking for gifts that we can use in our home for Christmas each year. One year we asked for luggage, another year we asked for a camera.....and this last year we asked for a big rug for our kitchen. There are so many things that we can use, and it's nice to be able to ask for them from our parents. It's something that we otherwise wouldn't be able to afford...so it's really a great thing.

Card Games Survey
Anyone enjoy taking surveys? I do once in a while...especially if I can make a little extra money while doing it. Recently I took another survey with dNeero.com. This is a great site that lets you take surveys and make some money while doing it. I for one have fun doing this. If you'd like to learn more, just click on the dNeero button below.

Home Improvements
It's been a lot of fun doing little things to our house. We rented for so many years, that it's fun to have our own place now and be able to do what we want to it. We've done little things here and there so far. We put up a wall to separate a very large room. Now we have a bedroom and an office space. I'm having a lot of fun getting things for the office. I'm really enjoy buying things to hang on the walls. We've also replaced some light fixtures and are thinking about working on our basement bathroom this summer.

Fun Weekend
This weekend has been a lot of fun. My family and I went down to see my little brother who is getting ready to celebrate his 22nd birthday on Monday!! We did some shopping and ate some really great food!! Unfortunately the time went way too quickly, and after church today we're already going home. Oh well...I guess that's how it usually goes. We'll just have to go down and visit again soon.

Flash Fiesta Giveaway
Pexagontech.com is currently taking entries from students, faculty and parents for a Flash Fiesta Giveaway!! The great thing is that the winner will get 1Win 1,000 Personalized Flash Drives for Your School!. On top of that, there is one entry per week that will be selected to win 20 personalized flash drives. Wouldn't that be cool if every student could come to school with their own flash drive?! As a former teacher, I definitely think this would be great! If you'd like to learn more about this giveaway and their purpose, check out their site today!
Busy Day
It's been a really busy day today! Between playing with Kaelyn and taking care of her today, doing the laundry, cleaning the house, and trying to get a little blogging done when I can....the day has just flown by! I can't believe that it's nearing 5:00 already!! Wow!! I suppose I better get off the computer soon though, so I can finish getting things done and get supper started before Scott gets home. I don't like to eat too late, so it's nice if I can get something started before 5:30.
Diets
I don't get the chance to watch much tv, but throughout the week there are a few shows that Scott and I really enjoy watching. One of these shows is American Idol!! Last night while we were watching it, we saw a commercial for what they consider to be top diet pills. I got to thinking about how many products are out there to help people loose weight these days. It's nice that those who are looking to lose weight have many affordable and convenient options. I don't know how one chooses what's best, but it's nice that there's still a variety to choose from.
Porch
Our house has a really great screened in porch. I must say that this was a huge selling point for us when we bought it. We liked how it was screened in to keep out all of those annoying mosquitoes that come out during the summer time. We have really great patio furniture out there that my parents were so kind to give us. They ended up getting new furniture for their deck...so we're using their old stuff. We really like it. However, even with that out there, it seems like something is missing. The porch is pretty good size, so we're going to have to think about what we might want to add this summer.
Busy Busy
Wow this week has gone by quickly. I have been so busy, but it still seems like I have a lot to do! I want to get the house cleaned, do laundry, and do the bills. I have to do all of that before tomorrow evening. I hope I can get in working mode and just do it all today sometime. Sometimes it's hard to get everything done because I give Kaelyn a lot of my attention too. I guess I'll just have to work and get done what I can.:)

George Divel
George Divel is a broker and is known for his outstanding research tools and knowledge of wealth planning. I recently came across someone who said that George took his time looking through their portfolio giving his honest opinion about risk and balance in tax and income. I was happy to hear that there are hardworking and honest professionals out there willing to help people like this person. If you'd like to learn more about George Divel...check out this site today!!
So cute!
Today I had the nice surprise of getting a video in my e-mail of our little nephew. He and Kaelyn are only a couple of weeks apart in age, so it's so fun to see him since he's so far away. It's fun to see the things he's doing...he reminds me so much of Kaelyn. They would have so much fun together...I look forward to the time when we can get them together again.:)
