What are you waiting for??!!

As a stay at home mom I obviously enjoy any thing I can do to make a little extra income each month. I wouldn't have to, but it's nice to make things more comfortable for us by bringing in a little extra cash. I have found a great way to do this through blogging for money. Many people I have talked to about this, who know nothing about it only have negative things to say. They either say it's "too good to be true" or that it sounds boring. I have to say that they're missing out! If you blog about things that interest you, and you're able to make money while doing it...in my opinion that's a great job! I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity.

Prison Inmate Locator

Have you ever wondered where it is possible to access inmate records or inmate license records?? If so, you may want to check into the Prison Inmate Locator. I thought it was very interesting that you could locate nationwide federal inmate reports quickly with direct data retrieval. I suggest if you're interested in learning more, you should check out this site and all the information they have to offer.

Snow

Wow did the weather get nasty last night. We went to bed and knew the snow was falling, but had no idea we'd wake up to find 6 inches on the ground. Poor Scott had to go out and shovel snow and then head to work. I'm glad he at least has a more flexible schedule this year as it makes it easier to go to work a little later if the weather does not cooperate. Hopefully he'll be home a little earlier today too....the snow is still blowing and drifting in places.

House Hunting

Scott and I have been looking at homes lately. We're not putting ours on the market yet, but when we do, we'll obviously be looking for another house closer to his job. In looking for homes we have certain things that we'd like it to have. A certain number of rooms, a certain number of bathrooms, outdoor lighting, double garage, etc. It will be fun to see what we can find. It's a stressful time, but fun at the same time.

Extreme Makeover

Tonight we're watching the show I'm sure many have heard of....Extreme Makeover Home Edition. We try to watch this every week, but tonight it's extra special because it's one that we actually got to see first hand being built. It's pretty exciting. I'm going to try and finish up my work here online and then get back to watching it.

Getting an Education

I was thinking today about how myself and my brothers have all been out of college for a few years at least now. Josh and I were finished in 05 and my little brother was done a couple years after that. It's great to know that we all are finished and have that educational background that will help us get where we need to go. Josh went to school for communications, I went to school for education and Jake went to school for engineering. He also did many jobs in Welding and other work holding things.

Buying a Home

Scott and I have been talking about some of the things we want and don't want in a new home when the time comes to buy one. Obvious things we want are a certain number of bedrooms, bathrooms and of course enough space for us to comfortably live like we do now. However, it's the small things that we want to pay attention to as well. For instance, does the house have wood flooring?, are there updates that will need to be made right away?, is there two garages?, etc. All of these things will factor in to any decision we will make on purchasing a house. I know the perfect one is out there...we just have to be patient.

Always something new....

I love watching as Kaelyn learns to do new things. Lately she's been standing a lot more on her own...and is talking so much!! She still jabbers most of the time...however we're starting to hear more words as well. Her favorites to say are: books, ball, mum, dad, and baby. Most recently she also started singing some of her ABC's. She got a great gift from my parents for her birthday...it's Fridge ABC's which sings the letters to her and helps her to learn the alphabet song as well. She's been singing and we can make out the letters A,B,H,I,J,K,L. It's so cute to see her learning new things right before our eyes. Each day it's something new....

Decorations are up!

We worked hard this weekend to get up all of our Christmas decorations. I'm happy to say that it's finally all done and looks great! We started Saturday night and got up the tree. Then Sunday we finished getting the rest of our decorations up. With the few inches of snow that we got this weekend and the cold weather...it definitely is feeling more like Christmas time i s around the corner. I sure love this time of year. You can look out the window and see houses lined up with lights all around.
