Cleaning

Well today I will be spending most of my day doing some house cleaning. Laundry needs to be done, the house needs to be vacuumed, the floors need to be mopped, the list is never-ending. No matter how much I clean, it still always seems to get dirty so quickly. Oh well, at least I'm home and not working, that makes it much easier to get everything done in a day.

Weather

I woke up this morning and found it still snowing outside. It's not really snowing a lot, just blowing really hard. Unfortunately Scott has to go to work this morning, so he's going to take his time and drive very slowly. At least it's not icing like it was yesterday, that can make driving almost impossible. Hopefully this blizzard-like weather will end soon.

I was very interested in learning more about staph infection today as I read more about it at http://www.staphaseptic.com. Nice to have Scott home

Although I know that Scott enjoys his job immensely, I am really happy that he didn't have to go into work today, mainly because the weather is not nice and I did not want him to be out in the blizzard today. I also really enjoy having him home and being able to spend time with him! Zoe really likes it too! She just loves playing with Scott and laying around with him...she's totally a boy's dog!:)

Vacation Rentals

My hubby and I love to travel, but now that Scott is working full time, we don't get to do that much. I would say that our favorite place to go is Myrtle Beach. We went there on our honeymoon, and also once with my parents, and we absolutely love it! It's such a beautiful place, especially during the summer time. It's a family oriented type of atmosphere, with never-ending things to do. They have waterparks, theme parks, golf, shopping, movies, and so much more! There's something for everyone in Myrtle Beach and we can't wait to go back. I was doing a little research and found a great website that offers vacation rentals in Myrtle Beach, and many other places throughout the US as well! Off work early

I recently found out that many people are getting off work early, or not going today due to this winter storm we're having. My dad and and mom both were able to get off early, which is nice to know they're safe at home. Scott didn't have to go into work, and his mom got off work early too. Although I don't like having weather like this, it's nice to know that the people we love are safe at home in the warmth. Let's just hope that this weather passes soon.
